Scrapper PvP Guide

Weaving in and out of battle, Scrapper is a tricky rushdown that’s sure to have her enemies scrambling in PvP.

Although her damage is quite low and her combos are long, she boasts the lowest Push engage in the game and has some incredible mobility.

Scrapper is a pure melee class that thrives in fast engages and even faster retreats. Boasting a double dash, she can mix up her combos and immune enemy punishes when timed correctly. Though she does fit a rushdown role, she is not much of a damage dealer – instead enabling her team by working as the spearhead that opens up enemy formations. With a hit-and-run playstyle, she’ll roam around and strike when least expected.

Desired Stats

750 Swiftness and 250 Specialisation.

Ultimate

Both Awakenings are valid. Undefeated Dragon King and Blast of Ruination both do the same thing. Blast of Ruination provides a long hitbox, hits harder if at point blank, but has damage fall off. Undefeated Dragon King has much greater casting range and speed, but you lose out on the linear hitbox and a bit of damage if point blank.

Alternate pods & skills

Death Rattle

Instead of Push Immunity, damage can be used instead – it means you cannot frontline as much and combos are easier to interrupt, but they become much higher value.

Tips

  • Scrapper is a great rushdown, but her combos take a very long time to execute. Always have your space dodge ready during an engage to be able to back out safely, or you may face too great a risk for your reward.
  • Scrapper damage is not particularly high – her value comes from the continuous knockdowns that she can inflict while being difficult to catch herself. Play like an enabler and make openings for your team to convert.
  • Be wary to not mess up your teammates’ combos. Your skills have heavy knockbacks that make it difficult to burst together. Alternatively, you can use these skills to better isolate targets – time your attacks wisely.
  • Target swapping and changing focus priority is a key skill to have as a Scrapper. It is usually better to get two Pushes on two separate targets than overcommitting chasing a single enemy – especially if their team expects you to keep chasing instead of turning on another.
