Deathblade PvE Build

The Deathblade is one of the 2 available assassins in the Lost Ark line-up. She wields 3 swords and mastered using them to inflict incredible damage onto her foes. The typical playstyle for the blade revolves around hitting enemies from the back as much as possible while charging up your gauge to unleash a massive hit and a big damage buff.

Desired Stats

For both playstyle you want to focus on getting Speciality as much as possible with Crit on your necklace!

Ultimate

Usually we chose the Supernova ultimate because it is faster and guaranteed to land the full damage.

Class Engravings

The Deathblade has access to two different class engravings just like every other class.

Remaining Energy: Using your identity does not consume Gauge for 2s when activated. Atk./Move Speed +12% on Burst. Atk. Power +(12%, 24%, 36%) depending on your Burst level, for 30s. This playstyle is the go-to playstyle and requires you to use your identity every 30 seconds to keep up your self buffs. This build relies heavily on bursting properly from the back.

Burst: When using your Identity Slash, the number of current orbs does not matter as it will always do the same amount of damage as if you had 3 orbs. While you are inside of your Buff window you gain the “burst” buff, stacking up to 20 times increasing the damage of the slash by 7.5% and Increases ATK. Power by 1%. The Burst playstyle is the opposite and revolves around bursting with your identity slash. You build up stacks to the unleash massive power in one single attack. Lesser commonly used and often played for it’s fun factor.

Viable Engravings

For the Remaining Energy Playstyle there’s a few engravings you can chose.

Besides the usual ones:

  1. Grudge
  2. Cursed Doll

I also heavily recommend to run:

  • Supercharge
  • Backstabbing Master
  • your class engraving.

Other only engraving I suggest is Adrenaline if you can keep it up at all times.

Basic Rotation

The Basic (Remaining Energy Playstyle) rotation is to:

  • Keep up your debuff on the target at all times with Spincutter
  • You then want to build up your gauge to 2 or more orbs where you burst window starts
  • You activate your identity, followed by the Slash to consume your orbs and get the buff from Remaining Energy
  • Now you want to pop Maelstrom to generate additional gauge and fit in as many skills as possible (preferably from the back) into your maelstrom window
  • Once you are at 2 or more orbs you rinse and repeat
