Deadeye PvE Build

Deadeye is a fast paced, ranged class that switches between double handgun, shotgun and rifle, to become a deadly source of damage to enemies at any range. Deadeye playstyle feels really fluent with fast-movement, dashes, stylish animations and smooth transitions between stances. This build guide oscillates around Enhanced Weapon Engraving which  increases you Crit Rate for a certain amount of time on stance swap.

Ultimate

This build runs Bursting Flare for big damage burst and high stagger. Clay Bombardment is also a viable option but with much less stagger and range. Keep in mind that you need to land all hits from Bursting Flame to consider it as a better choice.

Class Engravings

Enhanced Weapon Engraving is our choice to run on this build. It provides you with up to 30% Crit Rate for 9 seconds when changing stance. Another viable option is Pistoleer Engraving which increases your damage by up to 40% but disables Rifle and Shotgun Stance. This choice makes the character a bit boring and slightly reduces its damage output.

Skilltree

Skill Tree focuses on utilizing two stances – Handgun and Shotgun. You won’t be putting points into Rifle Stance but its abilities work only as a gap filler while waiting for other cooldowns.

Viable Engravings

Primary:

  • Enhanced Weapon (Lv.1)
  • Grudge
  • Master of Ambush

Secondary:

  • Adrenaline (for Swiftness as secondary stat)
  • Spiti Absorption (for Crit as secondary stat)
  • Cursed Doll
  • Keen Blunt Weapon

Basic Rotation

You should start your combo in Handgun Stance applying Weakness Exposure debuff with Spiral Tracker or AT02 Grenade. While debuff is active try to land as many abilities from your Shotgun Stance while in short range or from Handgun Stance. Then reposition if needed, debuff foe again with Weakness Exposure and repeat. Use Rifle Stance abilities as a gap filler while other Stance abilities are on cooldown.

Keep in mind to swap stances around every 9 seconds to upkeep Enhanced Weapon Engraving buff.
